Meet Our Staff

Tara

Tara is Level II Registered Dental Assistant. She graduated from Fanshawe College in June of 2003. She has been at Spencer Dentistry since 2005. Tara enjoys working in dentistry because she gets the opportunity to see first hand the positive effects a healthy smile can have on a person’s life. Tara enjoys working out, reading, going to movies and spending time with family.

Sharon

Sharon graduated with a Level II Dental Assisting diploma from Everest College in March of 2008. Upon graduating, she joined Spencer Dentistry as our receptionist. She strives to be sure that our office provides each patient with the individualized care and concern that we would give to a family member. Sharon loves spending time with her family and enjoying the outdoors. She is also an avid gardener and classic car enthusiast.

Melissa

Melissa has been in the dental profession since 2005 when she graduated with a Level II Dental Assisting diploma from the Medix School of London. She especially likes working with Dr. Spencer because of the high standards that she sets for both herself and her staff. Melissa enjoys going to movies, playing soccer, running and coaching young kids in a variety of sports.

Chary

After a twelve year career as a police officer, Chary chose a new path in dental hygiene. She graduated from the Canadian Institute of Dental Hygiene program in 2007 and joined our team in June of 2008. Her favourite part of being a dental hygienist is helping people achieve optimal dental health. Spending time with family and volunteering in the local community is what keeps Chary busy. Chary resides in Oakridge and is happy to be working close to home, where she lives with her husband Dave and their two children.

Jenny

Jenny is our newest Dental Hygienist, having just joined the practice in May of 2010. She graduated with honours from Niagara College in 2008. Dental health and general health are intertwined, and she enjoys educating our patients about how they can improve their oral health for life. Jenny enjoys working out, rollerblading, swimming, and being with her family.

Andrew

Andrew has been the Office Manager with Spencer Dentistry since February of 2009. Prior to this he worked at 3M Canada, where in the last three years he was the Marketing Operations Manager for 3M’s dental division. Andrew graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Marketing. He enjoys working in the dental industry and helping Dr. Spencer, Dr. Rabheru and the staff to optimize their patient care.

Andrew moved to London from Winnipeg with his wife, Dr. Spencer, in 1997 and was very happy to make the Forest City his home. In his free time he enjoys curling, hiking, ultimate frisbee, and traveling. When not at the practice he is kept busy looking after their two kids and supporting them in their many activities.
