Your First Visit

Your initial appointment will consist of a review of your medical and dental history. Ideally, this is followed by a thorough evaluation of your current oral health. We can then consult with you on your diagnosis and treatment options. Depending on your needs and the condition of your oral health, we may be able to complete your cleaning on the same day.

X-Rays

In most cases x-rays will be taken on the day of your consultation to provide the most accurate and definitive diagnosis and treatment plan. However, any x-rays taken within the last six months may be helpful and should be brought to your initial consultation. If you would like us to obtain a copy of your records from your previous dentist, then please contact our office at your earliest convenience.

Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation:

• Current x-rays (if available)
• A current list of prescription and non-prescription medications
• If you have dental insurance, bring the necessary policy numbers and a copy of your insurance booklet.

IMPORTANT: A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under the age of 18 to the initial visit.
